Well, here it is. I did it. My hair has been blue for a little over 12 hours now and it's pretty funky. I need to figure out how I'm going to comb this mop because the same old 'do won't do. Gem had some fun with it last night, but I haven't decided what I want yet. She still needs to cut my hair because I've paid for it twice, but haven't gotten the snip snip yet. What really amazes me about having blue hair is the variance of color depth. There are highs and lows in the coloring that makes it look more natural (HA!) than just a blanket monotone. It's kind of wierd because it looks like I'm just wearing a wig. The texture feels a bit funny too because the bleach thinned it out. But I'm digging it. We used semi-permanent coloring so it'll fade in a couple of weeks if I wash it a lot. After having it done I'm a little bummed that it'll go so fast but I have some extra color left over to make it last a bit longer. Who knows, maybe I'll keep it for a while.
On another note, I set up the Youth Relevance website today, well kind of. I put up a temporary page and transferred the domain but the change probably won't be fully in effect until tomorrow or later. I still need to set up the new CCEC page too and get that thing fixed. Man, I've got so much to do it's insane.
